- I'm a simple girl trying to find the Lord's will in my life. I love Him and trust Him for He knows what is best for me. I am a Senior in college studying to be a marriage counselor. Preserving the sanctity of marriage has become one of my passions over the past year. I am 20 years old and the oldest of 6 siblings. Psalm 51:17. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
God definitely has my sacrifice, because my heart is so broken.

Sorry, girl.
Dr. Brown referred to this verse in church Sunday night and he said that it was talking about the sacrifice of a person who's spirit was broken from sin. After hearing that I realized this Psalm did not apply to me in the particular circumstances I'm in.
.......it still was comforting though at the time. :)
